Lancome Skincare ProductsLancome Paris is a branch of L’Oreal that offers product lines in skin care, cosmetics and fragrances. Lancome was first introduced to world in 1935 by Armand Petitjean. While exploring the Le Château de Lancosme, Armand Petitjean was struck with this inspiration during his vacation in France. The inspiration for Lancome’s insignia, the golden rose, originated from the wild rose that grew on the castles surroundings.

Lancome began its line of fragrances in the World’s Fair in Brussels in that same year. Tendre Nuit, Conquete, Tropiques, Kypre and Bocages are the perfumes that instigated to further success for Lancome. Today, over 50 fragrances graced Lancome’s product line in collaboration with famous perfumers like Alain Astori, Daniela Roche-Andrier, Christine Nagel, Gerard Goupy and Oliver Polge to name a few. After conquering the perfume domain, Lacome branched to cosmetic and skin care products. It was during 1936 that Lancome launched Nutrix as its first cosmetic product.
