Weleda’s concept revolves around anthroposophy. This philosophy started with Dr. Rudolf Steiner’s idea of approaching beauty care holistically. The idea behind anthroposophy is to interlink the spirit, mind and body to the world as one system.
Dr. Steiner, Dr. Wegman and his dedicated team scientists and doctors all took into account this philosophy. Their personal approach in healing uses natural ingredients to holistically cater and support these healing capabilities in the body.
They’re the first to set biodynamic garden to grow these botanical ingredients used in their products. This may sound very modern today, but this has been a traditional healing method, successfully done from generations to generations. And today, Weleda has been renovating this method and finding way to improving their personal care products.
Weleda’s products healed and restored health without resulting to using synthetic, artificial and chemical preservatives. It was not too long that Weleda’s healing products got the public’s attention. Weleda products’ healing wonders spread to Switzerland, Germany and North America then gradually distributed worldwide. Today, Weleda is distributing in around 50 countries and still rising.
Despite Weleda’s success in distributing high-quality products, they still grow their own biodynamic gardens. Weleda believes that natural ingredients will give optimum health benefit for your wellness.
